The I.C.T. Department

The British School has ICT facilities which are second to none. All students from Kinder upwards are taught ICT  by class teachers.  Pupils are taught to be confident around computers and to manipulate a wide variety of software packages covering word-processing, spreadsheets, databases, multimedia presentations, web-page design, data logging, control and animation.

In addition to regular class lessons, teachers bring groups of children into our ICT suites to teach skills and research, thereby helping us to deliver ICT across the curriculum.  Every department has subject specific software in addition to general research materials available on CD-ROM and from the Internet.

Our pupils are motivated to do well in this subject and our Key Stage 3 students can use the ICT facilities during lunchtimes. The facilities are used regularly for after-school clubs.
