Location:  Inside the main entrance next to the SMT office opposite the school hall.

The school nurse is responsible for the health and safety of the students and staff and welcomes the chance to talk to parents about the welfare of their children.

Role of the school nurse:

● Carries out emergency first aid
● Provides specific care for students with health concerns
● Provides pastoral / counselling care providing referrals where necessary
● Provides training guidance to teachers / students on health care issues
● Actively promotes health education
● Promotes a healthy school environment
● Provides health information for the school community
● Meets with parents before and after they join TBSC
● Liaises with parents and guardians of children with health concerns
● Liaises with the local Health Authority of Venezuela
● Implements recommendations of the Local Health Authority
