Use of Medication
at TBSC
Parents
may send in medication for their children but these must be declared
to the School Nurse and a Temporary Medication form should be
completed. The medication should be accompanied by the doctor’s
prescription. Any medication sent into school should be clearly
named and sealed. In some cases, antibiotics can be rescheduled to
be given before and after school rather than sending them in.
The
school nurse may administer over the counter medications (e.g.
throat lozenges, Atamel, Ibuprofena) only with parental consent.
